Since 1979 this sandwich shop has been satisfying the appetites for residents, businessmen, and a favorite to local and visiting pro surfers (thus the "board"). If your need somthing satisfying, fresh and healthy, there are many salads and large fresh sandwiches that await you. Conveniently located East of El Camino Real off of Palomar Airport Road.
DEL MAR
Board and Brew 1212 Camino Del Mar, Del Mar, CA 92014
Since 1979 this sandwich shop has been satisfying the appetites for residents, businessmen, and a favorite to local and visiting pro surfers (thus the "board"). If your need somthing satisfying, fresh and healthy, there are many salads and large fresh sandwiches that await you. Only a few block from the beach in Del Mar Village.
LA JOLLA
Bite of Boston - 3202 Governor Drive - San Diego CA 92122 (Univercity City a bit off the beaten path from La Jolla proper)
If you have every visited, or have any roots in Massachusetts, or within any of the New England states on the East Coast, you are going to want visit this place. This restaurant is making it's mark with it's legndary lobster rolls, full bodied fried clams, and wide array of submarine sandwiches only the way a Boston Sandwich shop can replicate. If attentive friendly service is a requirement, and you find Boston attitude offensive as opposed to entertaining, this might NOT be the place for you, however if you are all about the taste and quality of the food, this is a must try.
