Several market forces are in place that are making selling a home more challenging than in past markets.
Same old approach, and standard advertising is not enough to showcase properties especially given these market conditions. Financing seems to be in the top of the list, as a challenging obstacle for clients that would easily qualify in the past, and creating READY, WILLING and UNABLE buyers.
Listing 'collectors' that amass a number of listings, and fall back on statistics that a certain percentage will sell, are doing a major disservice to their clients. Ironically, by carrying so many listings, the public is fooled to think 'they must be good if they have all of those listings", check the stats, most of them are going unsold and get lost to other listing firms.
Insist on a listings firm that commits to sell your home, and that will not 'sleep' until the job is done and done well.
